The two teams had previously met during the group stages, with neither side able to get over the other as the match ended 15-15, but this time around a trophy was at stake and the Swedish mix imposed themselves. On de_train, concode got off to a great start, winning the first half 10-5 while playing as CT. Some sloppy play from the Russian-based team in the second half allowed their opponents to comfortably secure a 16-7 win. The map that followed, de_tuscan, was a much closer affair, with the match going into overtime after two 10-5 halves.
